1. Select naturally fermented foods like raw sauerkraut, kimchi, unpasteurized miso paste, and unpasteurized apple cider vinegar.
2. Limit sugars.
3. Avoid starchy foods such as grains, corn, baked goods (even gluten-free), and potatoes in order to "starve" the bad bacteria.
